At Redeemer, Loving Our Neighbour is part of who we are.
The Loving Our Neighbour ministry is a response to God’s call to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbour as we love ourselves (Matthew 22: 36-40; Luke 10:25-37).
As a church, we are called to make the love and message of Jesus known to people around us. This love sees, redeems, restores and brings wholeness. That’s why we are here in The Hague – to display the abundant love of Jesus in practical and relational ways. Loving Our Neighbour focuses on loving and walking with neighbours experiencing poverty, marginalization or injustice - a call for all Christ followers and an integral part of who we are as a local church.

LOVING OUR NEIGHBOUR MINISTRY
OUR MISSION...
To love and walk with people experiencing poverty, marginalization or injustice, bringing hope and restoration.
WE OUTWORK THIS MISSION BY...
EQUIPPING
We help equip believers through providing information, courses, workshops & volunteering opportunities. And by reading the bible, worshiping and praying together, reminding each other to point to Jesus as Lord and Saviour (and not to ourselves).
CONNECTING
We connect with organizations with expertise and resources focused on homelessness and sexual exploitation. When people need support beyond what we can provide, we connect them with these organizations. In this way, we complement them by being who God has called us to be and doing what He has called us to do.
SERVING
We help believers put faith in action by growing, learning, building community and serving together, all for the glory of God. We do this by proving opportunities to serve at Redeemer’s Street Café and Redeemer’s Taalcafé and with organizations who have a similar mission to Loving Our Neighbour.
