We believe church membership is biblical and that it is a good thing. The idea of church membership runs through everything we read and hear in the New Testament.
Redeemer’s Membership Course is the place to hear about what we believe God’s great redemption story is, how Redeemer came to be, what our hopes and dreams are, and what it looks like to be a member of our community. And, it provides us with an opportunity to get to know you and your story.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BECOME A MEMBER OF REDEEMER?
Essentially, this is what membership is about:
“The church welcomes you as a fellow believer and commits to follow Jesus together with you. And you submit to the community and its leaders as the family you want to be on mission with. It is about being genuinely connected, with heart and hands. Your commitment says: count on me!”

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
The road towards membership is reading our Membership Booklet and attending the New to Redeemer course at the Redeemer Centre. To sign-up for the next dates of these, please visit the events calendar. Following these evenings, there will be a conversation with a leader, before a public confirmation on a Sunday morning.
