Redeemer International Church was started in 2010 when a small group of people began to meet on a Sunday in The Hague. We are passionate about seeing people in The Hague and beyond reached with the Gospel.

We are a church family together on Jesus' mission.

OUR FOUNDATIONS

Everything we are as a church and as believers is centred on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It shapes how we read the Bible, how we live and how we speak about things.

Gospel centred

We celebrate that we are redeemed by Jesus’s death and resurrection.
We believe that only the gospel is the power to save. The central message of the Bible.
We see the gospel as the foundation for our worship, community, and outreach.

Bible based (with reformed roots)

We believe in the Bible. All of it. And we love doctrine.
We are saved through faith. Not by works, but by God’s sovereign grace.
We live to bring glory to God and to enjoy him forever.

Charismatic convictions

We love to encounter God.
We believe the Spirit empowers us to live the life of God now.
We eagerly desire spiritual gifts.

Missional mindset (for apostolic advance)

We believe the church exists to show Jesus to the world.
We love our neighbours.
We are all on a mission to share the gospel. At home, at school, at work, wherever.

OUR VALUES

Adventure
We have been sent on a mission by Jesus to make disciples, here and beyond. It is called the 'great commission'. We'll need courage, faith and God's help to go for it, already in daily life. It is a true adventure! We love that we are caught up in his great redemption story.

Devotion
We are whole-heartedly devoted to Jesus and his mission. This looks like living lives of worship, prayer and delight in the Word of God as we follow Jesus together.

Dependence
In a world where independence is seen as a virtue, we want to model a radical dependence on God through being people wholeheartedly dependent on prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Grace
We cannot earn God's love. We are saved by God's abundant grace. This liberates us and makes us secure. Grace impacts how we do things and how we relate to one another. Grace leads to generosity, hospitality, humility, joy, and thankfulness.

Compassion
We love God's love for us. In response, we get to love others. Especially those in need. When Jesus comes back, he will make everything good, but we get to make something of that goodness
known now, here in The Hague.

Simplicity
We seek to keep church life simple and our ministry focused, so that we are free to live and share the gospel. It is the best news ever. There is simply no other way for
people to be saved.

Together
We are family, connected members of Jesus's body. Following Jesus is not a solo sport. We need one another's encouragement, gifts, love, and support. That is why we value community, discipleship groups, team leadership, and our family of churches. We go together.
